When a boy meets a girl.

Yesterday we were Walking through Pier One for some ideas, when Aidan discovered a beautiful little girl named Bella. She was wearing a cute little pink tank top, it looked like it was made from a cotton type fabric and was embroidered with a nice geometric design, her skirt matched. Aidan loves feet and shoes so her pink platform thongs with the beads and flowers on the straps were of great interest to him. Bella was sitting on a red couch with bright colored cushions. At first Aidan just sat down near her, but then he moved closer and tried to kiss her. She refused, and leaned back to keep her face away from him. He wanted to hug her, but she wouldn't. She talked to him and asked me questions. I'd guess her to be about 3 or 4 years old, because of her language skills. She was only an inch taller than Aidan though. He didn't want to leave her, but when he finally did, to go try out a blue couch, she followed. He still wanted to kiss her, and she still refused. They were so cute together. It makes me wonder what I have to look forward to as he grows up. He IS only 2, you know.
